Sadhvi Prachi, Yogi Adityanath must be jailed: Anupam Kher at The Telegraph event

Veteran Bollywood actor and Padma Bhushan awardee Anupam Kher slammed theCongress party and the entire intolerance brigade while speaking at ‘The Telegraph National Debate’ on March 5.

Kher started by taking on Justice Asok Kumar Ganguly who spoke before him and had called the Supreme Court judgement in Afzal Guru case wrong. “I am shocked, ashamed and saddened by what you said being a judge you say that SC judgement was wrong,” Kher said to Justice Ganguly.

He also said that if Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi became even one-tenth of what Prime Minister Narendra Modi was, he would vote for him.

He also lashed out at Kanhaiya Kumar, who he said was being projected as a hero, for being a participant at the event in which anti-India slogans were raised.

– Lashing out at Congress leader Randeep Surjewala, who was also a participant in the debate, Kher said that his party was tolerating a person who they are trying to project as the Prime Ministerial candidate. “If you can tolerate that person, then you can tolerate anything in the world,” he said, referring to Rahul Gandhi. 

– He added that the word intolerance was being marketed and used against PM Modi because there were no other concrete issue to talk about, including corruption. 

– Responding to the criticism that he was speaking for BJP because his wife is a member of the majority government, he said that after being married to Kirron Kher for 30 years, he did not need to prove his loyalty to her by supporting her party.

This Husband Clicked Such An Amazing Shot Of His Wife That Apple Wanted It

Ever participated in one of those hashtag competitions where the best entry gets to be featured in a company's ads? Well, you are never going to be as cool as Bengaluru-based couple Ashish Parmar and Raina Nanaiah.

Parmar, a photographer, snapped a picture of his wife and posted it online with #ShotOniPhone6S hashtag. Lo and behold! Apple picked it up for their ad campaign.

Here's what he posted on Facebook when he found he had won:

He initially presumed that the picture would be used only for hoardings in India. But, later, he found out it was going to be used globally. The couple were obviously ecstatic when the candid picture made it to Apple billboards across the globe.

Parmar spoke to the Deccan Chronicle about his experience:

When I first found out that Apple had selected my picture for the campaign, it felt too good to be true. At first I thought someone was playing a prank on me, but when I received an official email from Apple is when I realised it was all true.

And then Nananaih posted on Facebook: 

Ashish and I are trending on Yahoo!!! And that too above Shah Rukh and Priyanka Chopra!

 Parmar told The Indian Express how the amazing shot come into being:

It was Diwali and she was helping my mother place diyas around our house. I just came out and saw her walking with a plate full of diyas and it caught my eye… how the light was beautifully falling on her face. Being a photographer and of course, a husband who loves his wife, I just pulled out my phone and asked her if she could just pick one diya and stand by the wall. It was a candid and random shot.
